Very random, but I have been thinking about getting my wedding dress preserved. I know this is something that a lot of people probably took care of shortly after their wedding, however, I am not one of those people.
We have been married for 3 years and 2 months. I literally JUST started asking around for prices on preserving my wedding dress. The quote that I got from our favorite local dry cleaners was $180.
Does this sound outrageous? or totally reasonable?
Has anyone preserved their wedding dress and been unhappy about it?
This is a picture of us on our wedding day.
*Thankfully - I have lost 50 pounds since this picture.
I will talk more about that in a future post.

aww...you make a beautiful bride :) and I love how the roses pop in this photo!
You are very beautiful! I got married about a year and a half ago, but I haven't looked into getting my dress preserved yet...that's probably a really smart idea. Let me know what price you end up finding to be a reasonable one!
Whitney =)
My best friend just had her wedding dress turned into a comforter and liner for the baby's crib! I think it's becoming a bit of a trend to turn the dress into something new. I've heard of the dress being made into throw pillows, tablecloths, curtains, and backgrounds for framed wedding photos.
Whatever you decide, have fun! A wedding dress is something that should be preserved (in some way) forever :)
